It is our desire to praise and worship our Savior, Jesus Christ through song, music and dance. It is the way that we express our love and gratitude toward our Lord!

Many scriptures support the praise and worship of the Lord, including Psalm 150:1-6  “Praise the Lord!  Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty firmament!  Praise Him for His mighty deeds; praise Him for His surpassing greatness!  Praise Him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp!  Praise Him with the tambourine and dance; praise Him with stringed instruments and organs.  Praise Him with the clanging cymbals; praise Him with loud clashing cymbals!  Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord.  Praise ye the Lord!  This scripture and many others clearly indicate that we should praise and worship the Lord with music, instruments and dance. These are all biblical expressions of worship.

Every Sunday morning, we have two worship services:

Our traditional service starts at 9 a.m. In the traditional service we worship the Lord with the time-honored hymns of the faith and some classic praise and worship selections.

Our contemporary service starts at 11 a.m. In our contemporary service we worship the Lord with current and up-to-date musical selections that are direct and relevant to our present generation. In our 11 a.m. service we also have a choir and full band which ministers in song each Sunday.

No matter your musical style preference, we are called to worship the Lord through music. If you have an interest in singing with the choir in our 11 a.m. worship service or playing an instrument in either of our 9 a.m. or 11 a.m. worship services, please e-mail our worship leader,
Lee Ewing, or call him at 434.836.0123 extension  224.
